Make your unsubscribe page.
In this article, we will tell you how you can create your own unsubscribe page that matches the style of your site.

Here are some things to know before you begin this process:

  • In the SmartSender mailing service, standard subscribes/unsubscribe pages are initially available and they are by default in all standard templates.
  • When a user creates a subscribes/unsubscribe page and enable it, it is automatically inserted into all email messages sent to them.
  • The subscribe or unsubscribe link is set by default in each email newsletter.
  • Pages of the same type cannot work at the same time.
  • For each domain, you can customize your own unique design.

To do this, you need:

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Go to Unsubscribe page (Menu -> Settings -> Unsubscribe page)
  2. Click “Add New Page” button
  3. Choose one of the three options:
    • Drag & drop editor
    • Your own HTML
    • add  Redirect URL
  4. After, you have created the page, save it and select a type to subscribe or unsubscribe page.

Drag & drop editor: Drag content blocks to create the layout you want. Insert your text and images. Choose color theme or make your own

Your own HTML: Write or import your own HTML (this one is for experts)

Manage your subscribe /unsubscribe page

Find the list of your pages in the “Content” tab.
Column “Action”  has the following tools:
Edit – You can edit and improve each of your pages. Make sure to save your changes before exiting your edited pages.

Delete – If a page is no longer needed, you can delete it.
Impotent: If you delete the subscription or unsubscribe page, we automatically substitute our default page with links.
You can easily find a certain page either by name in the “Search” field.

You can use Variables. Here are some defaults in our system:
